Flower Child started as a single piece depicting the resilience of the human spirit, but over time has become a pseudo-documentation of personal growth.

I made Flower Child No.1 at an unsure time in my career, I was primarily a fashion photographer, but I knew I wanted to extend my images past what my camera could capture. That's when I turned to photomontage; this technique helped me create the exact mood I was going for because of the level of control I got.

I've made numerous pieces tied to this series, but the ones I've shown here best depict my story.
